You’d have to be living in a cave – or be British – to be oblivious to the phenomenon that is Thanksgivukkah. This unusual occurrence, in which American Thanksgiving and Chanukkah fall on the same day, is a source of delight across America, and has even reached our shores here in Jerusalem. Being Canadian, I am personally not as tickled by this quirk of the calendar, but I am happy to celebrate all occasions that call for a cake!
