The Big Day

floral wedding cake

I made this cake for the wedding this week of a very good friend. Instead of writing about it myself, I thought I’d share what they’re saying about it on Facebook:

● Look at the beautiful cake Rachel Miskin, a professional cake decorator, made for the wedding! AND IT TASTED EVEN BETTER – chocolate mint cake and incredible chocolate ganache. OMG it was worth it to go to Mitzpeh Yericho just for that. (Also to watch my friends get married, of course. :))

● That is just gorgeous!

● It really was delicious!

● Gorgeous! And I bet it tastes great too.

● Great picture! and delicious cake.

● Work of art…

● Also, all those little flowers tasted good too!

● Rachel Miskin takes the cake.

● Amazing wedding cake made by Rachel Miskin.

● Gorgeous, and awesome chocolate mint cake on the inside!! Go Rachel Miskin!!

● Cake was stunning!!!  I can almost vouch for how amazing it tasted but by the time I got to it, there was almost nothing left… Had to resort to stealing crumbs from people’s plates. Chocolate mint — yum!!! Still have top tier with little people….

● It is indeed a feast for the eyes.

● Only had two slices, and a little icing off someone else’s slice.

● I will have it go on the record that the cake was CHOCOLATE MINT and was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I LOVE RACHEL’S CAKES!!!!

● It was an artistic masterpiece, and the chocolate mint taste was fantastic. Calling it “Cake of the Week” doesn’t do it justice. It should be “Cake of the Year.” I rarely cheat on my diabetic restrictions, but this cake was well worth cheating for. (Twice!!!)
