The guests did a double take when at the end of the pizza party this cake was presented inside a pizza box.
I actually spent quite a while figuring out how to give the fondant cheese a grated look. Answer: use a cheese grater. But now in retrospect, the cheese should have looked melted, not grated since presumably you’d want your pizza cake to look baked not raw. Also, the crust is clearly toasted which indicates that it’s been in the oven, so why would the cheese still be unmelted?
Am I possibly overthinking this?
