Ok, be honest – you never knew that Robin (originally of Batman and) grew up and became an entirely new superhero known as Nightwing. Interesting, right?
Well, hold onto your hat. At some point or another, Nightwing has also been the adopted identity of no less than Superman, Superman’s niece – Powergirl (now who the heck is that?), – his adopted son – Chris Kent, and a host of other superhero characters!
It kind of seems like a handy interim persona for a superhero in need. Having an identity crisis? Nightwing to the rescue. Hey, maybe that’s actually his superpower (I was too bored to read more of his biography, so who knows?)!
Anyway, by any measure his costume is cooler than Robin’s,
so who could really blame him for trading up?
