Some of you may recall the first appearance of the cupkie in these pages. Admittedly, it met with a mixed response. While a genius idea in theory – a cupcake topped with a cookie – it somehow didn’t enjoy the enduring success of say, the cronut.

It is, you could say, a genuinely dripless candle (pay no attention to the drips in the icing decoration).
