As I write this, my windows are being pelted with hail, sleet, and the most dreaded of all – snow! For the second consecutive year, Jerusalem is covered in a blanket of white. What was the point of leaving Canada, I wonder aloud to the exasperation of anyone within earshot.
The one perk of the weather is that the city has come to a grinding halt, so I can feel completely guilt-free spending the day curled up with a book. Aristotle and Maimonides may or may not be my snow-day books of choice. Anyone within trudging distance is invited to come over and find out – and to borrow from my very well-stocked library.
