When we first began discussing the look of this website, the graphic designer tried – in vain – to convince me to include a photo of myself. She thought that the public would be more inclined to order a cake if they could put a friendly face to the product; I preferred to have the cakes speak for themselves.
Yet with the passage of time, I’ve come around to her way of thinking – almost.
To be fair, I don’t have a blue shirt that looks quite like this, and I rarely wear the white puffy hat, but other than that, it’s just like looking in the mirror!
