Fun And Games (Part 2)

Here I was, faced with yet another insanely popular fad whose appeal was truly a mystery (for another example, see here).

Research reveals that in the Angry Birds game the birds have a vendetta against pigs. You catapult the birds over various obstacles – wood, glass, stone etc. – in order to knock out the pigs and, when you succeed, advance to increasingly difficult levels. This game has been downloaded over 500 MILLION times by smartphone and electronic tablet users.

The cake itself wasn’t much of a challenge. I did find it interesting to experiment with the beak, though. Amazing how with just a slight alteration, you can turn a sneer into a scowl into a glower into a glare – No, these are not all the same! Make no mistake, these nuances are important for the discerning 6-year-old party guest.
